iValstat SM20 online electrostatic charge monitoring system
The SM20 is a PLC based multi-point monitoring system, where static charge signals from individual sections are taken using state-of-the art sensors. The system continually analyses, displays and records surface voltages on charged moving objects. It is an extremely useful safety and preventive maintenance device that finds use in many industrial applications, particularly those susceptible to risks for both operators and equipment.
The data collected enables display of safety levels, triggering alarms if the measured value surpasses the predetermined safety threshold. Storing and retrieving historical data for in-depth analytics and diagnostics is also possible.
For enhanced cloud-based connectivity and data exchange, an IoT-based option is offered. This facilitates seamless communication with multiple devices and systems via the internet, expanding the system’s reach and functionality.
